1. Introduction

Welcome to IHearIT (“Service”), an IT support service designed to assist users in pairing and repairing Bluetooth connections between phones and hearing aids using screen-sharing technology powered by GoTo. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of IHearIT, so please read them carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.


2. Service Description

IHearIT provides remote technical support for pairing and troubleshooting Bluetooth connections between smartphones and hearing aids via screen-sharing technology powered by GoTo. The Service is available to users of compatible devices and hearing aids.


3. Eligibility

To use IHearIT, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Own or have authorized access to the smartphone and hearing aid device that will be used with the Service.


4. Requirements and Service Limitations

4.1 System Requirements

  • Access to the GoTo screen-sharing service.
  • A smartphone compatible with your hearing aid.
  • A stable internet connection.

4.2 Limitations

  • IHearIT does not guarantee successful pairing or connectivity between your devices, as it depends on device compatibility and other factors.
  • IHearIT is not responsible for any hardware or software damage that may result from the use of the Service.


5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Accuracy of Information

  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding your devices to allow IHearIT representatives to assist effectively.

5.2 Privacy and Security

  • You acknowledge that the screen-sharing service involves access to your smartphone’s screen, which may include sensitive information. You agree to monitor and control what is shared on your screen to protect your privacy.

5.3 SMS Texting & Campaigns

  • By providing your phone number during enrollment, you agree to receive SMS text messages related to IHearIT services, including updates, and reminders.
  • By enrolling in IHearIT's service, you will receive SMS messages designed to facilitate screen sharing for seamless assistance in repairing your hearing aid connection to your smartphone.  
  • Additionally, you may receive SMS messages informing you about your expiring service.
  • Message frequency may vary.  Message & data rates may apply 
  • You may cancel participation in SMS texting at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. 
  • For assistance or more information about SMS texting, reply HELP or contact us at the details provided below.


6. Fees and Payment

  • IHearIT services may be subject to fees as specified at the time of your service request. By using the Service, you agree to pay any applicable charges and fees.
  • IHearIT reserves the right to modify its pricing at any time with prior notice.
  • Please note that all IHearIT subscription purchases are final. Once a subscription is initiated, no refunds will be issued. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.


7. Third-Party Services

  • IHearIT uses GoTo for screen-sharing capabilities. By using the Service, you also agree to GoTo’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • IHearIT is not responsible for any failures, errors, or security breaches in GoTo’s screen-sharing services.


8. Privacy Policy

IHearIT respects your privacy. We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be accessed at https://www.ihearit.com/privacy-policy .


9. Disclaimer of Warranties

IHearIT provides the Service on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. IHearIT disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IHearIT shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.


11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IHearIT, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates, from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including attorney fees, arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.


12. Termination

IHearIT reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in any fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful behavior.


13. Modifications to Terms

IHearIT reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of the Service following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
